GoGift.com, a leading gifting company, is experiencing high growth and behalf of them, we are now looking for a Backend developer to support their internal development team.
You will cover software development tasks of specific nature, aimed against their core platforms and websites. Together with the internal stakeholders and external partners you will assure that time to market is improved considerably, and that knowledge is shared both externally and internally.
You will play a very important role developing and maintaining their core platform as well as numerous APIs, applications and websites. You will be a key player in their development team with highly skilled and experienced software developers (internal and external), UX/UI designer and DevOps team. You will report to the Director of Tech and Development.
You will get the opportunity to define your own tasks as well influence planning and decisions regarding technologies and architecture going forward. After a focused introduction, you will be involved in developing their core engine and existing platforms as well as numerous new projects; front-end, back-end, internal and external API’s.
Your main tasks will be to design and develop new features, maintain the existing products and optimize workflows based on feedback from different stake holders.
You will be working with a fully automated test and deploy set up where code quality and smart scalable solutions are of the essence. Collaboration and team work is at the core of this position and you will be expected to be able to handle several projects or tasks simultaneously.

Job Requirements
Skills and Requirements:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English)
- Comfortable contributing in a group and able to work independently
- Relevant education or work experience
- Substantial experience with .NET development
- Experience developing with a least a couple or more languages and technologies such as:
- C#, JavaScript,
- Html/CSS
- PostgreSQL, MongoDb
- .NET (Core)
- React
- Experience with RESTful API development.
- Gitlab
- Previous work with GraphQL is benefitial, however understanding of communication between an API and a front-end client is a requirement
- Understanding of testing methodologies and frameworks
- Knowledge of AWS considered a plus
