As Supply Chain Director, you will be responsible for the supply chain and logistics, including forming the global supply chain strategy. You will support the standardisation of processes with your team, sharing best practices to address logistic challenges, contributing to ideal S&OP processes and optimising logistics efficiency.

The company has different logistics solutions across the key markets: 2PL, 3PL and 4PL solutions, meaning that all logistics and warehousing are outsourced. Your team are located in different Nordic countries. The function is relatively new; wherefore, you will play a central part in building and developing the team and the area.

The primary focus is to set an overall supply chain strategy and road map to meet the strategic goals. You must be able to cooperate and network with the entire organisation as well as external stakeholders. You have an international approach focusing on global synergies and transverse solutions.

With direct report to the CPO

Your main tasks are:

• Develop supply chain strategy and the transportation of materials: inbound & outbound warehouse flows, logistics activities within the warehouse network, quality checks, reporting etc.
• Define and drive the implementation of global supply chain strategy and key projects in cooperation with all markets
• Establish standardised supply chain processes across the entire group
• Increase transparency and decision-making process through strong stakeholder engagement and communication
• Act in close cooperation with the local delivery departments in all countries and global procurement
• Contribute to establishing and facilitating relevant S&OP forums
• Contribute to establishing material purchase order processes across the group.
• Optimising cost structure within the area
• Responsible for budgets across the supply chain

You possess a solid experience in supply chain-related roles, e.g., supply chain management, logistics, warehouse management etc. Furthermore, you have experience with inbound and outbound delivery flows and the improvements of routines and processes. Preferably the experience comes from Telco, infrastructure, supply chain consultancy or utilities/energy sector.

In addition, you have experience with leading complex negotiations with international logistic partners. You also have experience with people management – preferably leading employees in multiple locations. You work naturally on a strategic level, handling complex and long-term aspects as well as working hands-on with the supply chain, dealing directly with global logistics partners and other stakeholders.

You have a relevant commercial education within supply chain processes, e.g., M.Sc. Procurement, Logistics and Supply Chain Management etc.

You are a result-oriented person with a self-leading personality. You are outgoing, social, service-minded, emphatic, and a credible team player with an international mindset. You also have a holistic approach and can work with many different profiles/cultures.
