With a reporting line to the global Supply Chain Director, you will be responsible for optimizing global end-to-end flows, and in this role, you will ensure that customer needs are reflected in the design of the supply chain as well as in production flows. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting detailed analyses, identifying root causes, collecting data (qualitative and quantitative), and providing recommendations to the management for solutions. However, you will also need to subsequently implement your recommendations as projects and actively facilitate, lead, and ensure resources for project execution. You will be in close proximity to the top management of Operations, thereby having the opportunity to carry out your recommendations.

You have an academic background such as engineering or a Master’s in Supply Chain Management, and you have experience working with LEAN, production planning, and Material Requirements Planning (MRP). You are familiar with the principles of Kaizen, VSM, Kanban, and perhaps even single-piece flow production. It would be advantageous if you have experience in project management.
As an individual, you are analytical, data-driven, patient, and persistent, but you also have a hands-on side. You are known for getting things done. You are proactive and results-oriented, and you enjoy having a broad interface with many stakeholders. You are a team player who is empathetic and attentive, while also being capable of conveying your message on both operational and strategic levels.
Why is this position attractive?
