Join our Supply Chain Development team in Skejby, in the Northern part of Aarhus, Denmark. We are part of BEUMER Group Supply Chain, consisting of 60+ colleagues. As part of the Supply Chain Development team, you will join three highly skilled colleagues dedicated to drive optimizations throughout the Supply Chain.As the Supply Chain Development Manager, you will drive optimization of products and processes within Engineering and Supply Chain to improve cost, efficiency, productivity, and quality. You will be monitoring designs and design changes with an eye toward improving productivity and efficiency and reducing the cost base. Furthermore, recommending cost-saving measures at product and component level and implement changes through Engineering and Supply Chain. Take the lead and take responsibilityAs the Supply Chain Development Manager, you are responsible for driving optimizations by evaluating product designs, standardization, data, and workflows to implement improvements in cooperation with Engineering with the purpose of eliminating waste. Furthermore, you will be Involved in training staff in new processes and provide them with instructions and manuals.Your tasks include:Daily contact with Workshop employees collecting errors and picking up and implementing improvements / optimizations based on Engineering Issue list and feedback form Supply Chain colleaguesLead Engineering Issue reviews with Engineering teams and drive the implementation of design and TOS changesFrequent contact with Engineering and S&OP with focus on cost optimizationsDrive cost optimization projects for specific products as agreed with managerReview product specifications to identify waste and cost savingsMonitor operations with an eye toward improving productivity and efficiency and then implement these. This includes driving more optimal setup of TOS structure to allow larger production batches (in collaboration with Planning).Design control systems to minimize costs and production issues (e.g., cable waste, unpacking etc)Work with R&D when new products are being developed to ensure cost effective designEnsure all Optimization projects are duly documented and followed up through Supply Chain DevelopmentA strong technical insight with an eye for analyzing and improving processesWe're seeking someone with exceptional communication skills and a talent for critical thinking to drive data-driven decisions. Most likely you have experience from a similar position. Whether you come from a technical background and are interested in a role like this or possess a technical flair and are passionate about reducing waste and elevating productivity, this role is for you. We're seeking someone with exceptional communication skills and a talent for critical thinking to drive data-driven decisions. Most likely you have experience from a similar position.
