Supply Chain Professional in Local Manufacturing

About the department
The Local Manufacturing (LM) is part of Novo Nordisk’s Product Supply and overall responsible for establishing and managing local production sites in countries worldwide, where presence is required to obtain market access. The main office is located in Bagsværd, Denmark but we operate on a daily basis with production sites worldwide.
The position
Overall you will be responsible for supply chain in Local Manufacturing on an operational, tactical and strategic level by ensuring it is working optimal and delivering benefit in terms of efficiency to the sites and customers. You will oversee that our supply chain is carried out in an effective and productive manner by focusing on supply chain excellence, reducing lead time and flawless delivery.
Collaboration with the local production sites and affiliates will be done regularly where you will take part in discussions around central production planning, Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) processes, Supply Network Planning (SNP) and Long-Term Forecasts (LTF). You will have a vast number of stakeholders across departments and sites (globally) in Novo Nordisk.
As a part of the role you will also be involved in supporting the logistic needs to Projects in Local Manufacturing such as ensuring delivery of materials to sites under construction, CMO’s, etc. Travel will be required to LM sites to a certain extend – expected travel per year 20 days
Qualifications
You hold a master’s degree from a relevant Supply Chain educational background complimented with 2-5 years of relevant working experience within supply chain or operations.
As a person you strive to be a great team player to your pears and a professional partner to your stakeholders delivering a strong performance through personal drive and high ambitions. You easily identify solutions to complex business challenges supported by your ability to think above and beyond own area of expertise.
