If you have what it takes to drive digital innovation and adoption of value adding methodologies and technologies to ultimately provide better care for millions of patients, then you might be one of our two new colleagues in Manufacturing IT.

As an Release Train Engineer you communicate with stakeholders, escalate impediments, help manage risk, and drive relentless improvement.

About the Job

Your main responsibilities include driving, facilitating and executing PI planning and other agile activities such as preparation of Vision and Backlogs, system demos and retrospectives.

As a servant leader you will contribute to financial decision making, operate within ART budgets, long term ART capacity planning and manage the value flow throughout the programme.

Being part of the ART leadership team, you are able to resolve or escalate impediments, develop effective risk management processes and manage risk, and drive continuous improvement.

You have flair for and enjoy coaching ART members and leaders, and encourage collaboration between teams and across involved organisations. Managing estimations and metrics, and monitoring alignment to roadmap and vision is also part of your skillset.

You will be part of the continuous development of the some of the first ARTs in Novo Nordisk, shaping the role and directly influence how they will support Novo Nordisk’s Supply Chain and manufacturing globalisation and digitalisation journey.

The roadmap for the coming years is highly ambitious and among other includes the continuous maturity of the ART setup which you will help orchestrate together with the rest of the ART leadership team, Agile Coaches, Agile People Managers and Manufacturing IT management.

Qualifications

You are proficient in Agile and Lean methodologies including SCRUM, Kanban and SAFe, and enjoy training and coaching ART members accordingly. As a servant leader you are also experienced in change, risk and budget management.

You have a Master’s degree in Business, IT or another relevant field and extensive experience working with Agile transformations, preferably in large complex organisations. Requirements are SAFe Release Train Engineer certification.

You have extensive hands-on experience as an Release Train Engineer or Agile Coach across several teams, and a track record of leading high performing Agile teams. You master various coaching techniques as well as facilitation tools and methods, and you understand the importance of flexibility and change management to succeed with your ideas and beliefs. You quickly spot anti-patterns and act proactively to ensure the needed guidance and attention for the teams to get back on track.

You are a team player and build trustful relationships with colleagues and stakeholders naturally. You have drive, the ability to work independently and thrive in a busy and global environment where priorities change and fast decisions are needed to move on. Success in this role requires excellent interpersonal and communication skills to build credibility and engage stakeholders at all levels.
