If yes, then you could be our new Senior Manager for PS Launch, a part of Supply Chain Mid-term Planning.
About the Department
PS Launch is globally responsible for new product launch planning and execution across PS for up to 24 – 36 months. The department works in close collaboration with colleagues across Product Supply (PS), Commercial and Regional/Local affiliates. PS Launch is anchored within Supply Chain Mid-Term Planning, in the central Supply Chain organisation. The team is responsible for planning and executing launches while ensuring uninterrupted supply to patients at competitive costs, efficient capital utilisation and in an environmental sound way. This includes aligning demand forecast inputs and alignment to PS capacities/supply.
PS Launch consists of 8-10 highly skilled employees with years of experience from Novo Nordisk and Supply Chain Planning. They are a mix of professionals and specialists. It is a diverse team with colleagues from different nationalities, various educational background e.g., business, engineering and supply chain and with a balanced age and gender split.
The overall department, Supply Chain Mid-term Planning, consists of 35-40 employees split into four different teams: PS Launch, Global E2E Planning, Sales & Operations Planning and Regulatory Flexibility & Business Intelligence.
The Position
As Senior Manager, you will be overall responsible for new product launch planning and execution across PS for up to 24-36 months. This includes ensuring strong stakeholder alignment towards launches and strong anchoring of tactical decisions. You will also be responsible for leading the team, delegating, and prioritising tasks within PS Launch.
In addition, to the functional responsibility it is equally important you ensure high employee engagement, and you proactively support individual developments across the team. As Senior Manager, you will be responsible for the continued development and motivation of the team, as well as capability development within PS Launch. Across Supply Chain Mid-Term Planning you will have a strong focus on people development and driving the broader department towards strategic goals.
As Senior Manager, PS Launch you will be reporting to the Director of Mid-Term Planning and be a part of the Supply Chain Mid-Term Planning leadership team.
The role is a permanent contract with the first 12-months being a maternity cover for PS Launch.

Qualifications
You have a Master’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Finance or similar supplemented with:
- Minimum 3 years of strong leadership/people management experience
- Sound knowledge within Supply Chain, Planning and Operations
- Solid pharma business understanding

- You have good communication and presentation skills as well as strong command of English both written and spoken.
