As a Supply Chain Professional in Supply Chain & Operations, you will be involved in building innovative solutions related to Supply Chain, and you will have a wide spand of control and be in daily contact with both internal and external parties, as local manufacturing has various contract manufactures (CMO) which you will work with.

Local Manufacturing (LM) is part of Novo Nordisk’s Product Supply organisation and consists of 800 employees. The primary role of LM is the establishment and operation of manufacturing sites in countries where local presence is required to obtain market access. LM is present in countries like Japan, Russia, Belarus, India, Bangladesh, Saudi Arabia and Algeria.
As part of Supply Chain & Operations you will play a vital part in ensuring product to patients by ensuring an efficient supply chain both at our contract manufactures and local sites.
The position is located in Bagsværd, Denmark.

The Position
As a Supply Chain Professional in Supply Chain & Operations, you will be involved in building innovative solutions related to Supply Chain, and you will have a wide spand of control and be in daily contact with both internal and external parties, as local manufacturing has various contract manufactures (CMO) which you will work with.
The main tasks includes
- To ensure inbound supply to CMOs according to demand and production plans internal alignment within Novo Nordisk in regard to forecast and orders to the CMOs.
- Following up on materials order and coordination between CMO, affilate and SoOp.
- Act as link to core supply chain functions within Novo Nordisk to support the supply chain setup within Local Manufacturing.
- Being responsible for supporting on logistic needs to Projects in Local Manufacturing, such as ensuring delivery of materials to sites under construction, CMOs, etc. after agreement with project team.
- Proficient user within SAP to ensure system understanding and support for local manufacturing sites.
- To drive Supply Chain Analytics in Local Manufacturing, e.g. simulations, use of SAP data and dashboards in Tableau.
- SC KPI responsibilities for Local Manufacturing.
Qualifications
- You have finished a Bachelor or Master’s Degree in Supply Chain or a similar field such as Business Engineering.
- You have professional proficiency in both spoken and written English.
- You have excellent communication skills and you are able to both support, negotiate and discuss with internal and external stakeholders.
- You can challenge “status quo” and you are excellent at identifying and providing solutions to complex problems.
- Your approach to your work tasks is methodological, analytical and structured.
- You have great IT-skills and experience using simulations and SAP-data.
- Skill and knowledge within use of SAP ECC and APO is considered an advantage.
