The position
As our new Enterprise Risk Manager you will be in charge of driving the enterprise risk framework supporting management decisions in Novo Nordisk Product Supply, Quality & IT (PSQIT) by providing prudent risk insights and overarching risk control. You will be also responsible for facilitating the risk process, challenging, and advising on risks and according to mitigations.
Your main tasks will be:
• Optimize and maintain our Enterprise Risk Management Framework
• Conduct Risks Assessments with the entire organization
• Coordinate and manage risk management meetings for our Risk Management Committee
• Continuously plan risk management activities
• Develop and support mitigation action
• Remediation tracking and risk reporting
Apart from that, you will be supporting Management and colleagues in all risk management activities and ensuring that risks and issues are escalated effectively and monito risk environment, as well as
emerging risks to determine appropriate action plan.
Qualifications
Our ideal candidate has a strong project management, communication, analytical and organizational skills. We are looking for innovative and driven candidate who is performing tasks in a way that adds value and not necessarily in the way you are used to. You are willing to take responsibility for your own learning and ownership of your own tasks and to work as a team player to the benefit of the entire Novo Nordisk PSQIT organization and the patients.
You have a proven ability to demonstrate stakeholder management skills enabling you to cooperate group-wide and to drive processes and you are persistent in your quest to understand risks and regulations, while at the same time have the ability to connect the dots in light of the overall strategy, the direction of the company and industry dynamics.
The successful candidate:
• Has solid experience within Enterprise Risk Management, preferably from an international bio/pharma/medical device company.
• Holds a relevant academic degree (e.g., MSc in Business Administration, Project Manager or similar)
• Is fluent in English, both written and spoken
• Is enthusiastic, outgoing and thrive in an informal environment where you can structure, follow up and complete your tasks.
• Has at least 6-8 years’ experience working with Enterprise Risk Management, preferably in the bio/pharma/medical device industry, but it is not a requirement.
The position requires an innovative and open mindset, well developed interpersonal skills and strong competences in communication, as you will work closely together with many different layers in the organization. A sense for discretion and confidentiality is essential.
About the department
You will be joining the Supply Demand Committee Secretariat within Supply Chain & Finance. The unit is responsible for driving a continuous process on strategic supply/demand challenges as well as Enterprise Risk Management and all reporting on these matters to Executive Management and the Board of Directors. You will become part of a team of highly skilled and driven colleagues with high engagement and focus on delivering strong results.
