Supply Chain LEAN Partner, IFP IntraLogistics and Supply Chain, Denmark – Bagsværd

About the department
Novo Nordisk Product Supply Injectable Finished Products (IFP) is an area within Novo Nordisk that is responsible for production across 7 global production sites. We are looking for a Supply Chain LEAN Partner in the department IFP IntraLogistics & Supply Chain located in IFP Business Support. The department is responsible for developing and optimising our internal logistic processes across the network by implementing smarter ways of working via use of LEAN principles, automation and process digitalisation. Some of our focus areas are optimising lead times, simplify processes and optimise movements of goods between the sites.
The position
You will be part of a global team in IFP IntraLogistics & Supply Chain working daily with the sites and other HQ stakeholders to simplify and optimise processes to support our global production and Warehouse departments. The department is part of IFP Business support which is consisting of 55-60 highly skilled employees, within Finance, Supply Chain, Business Development, Business intelligence, process excellence and project management. As part of the IntraLogistics and Supply Chain team you will work closely together with the Director and project managers on various projects, analysis and optimisation initiatives.
The Supply Chain LEAN Partner will be responsible for various task varying from working as part of a project to drive problem solving tasks. Furthermore participating in or driving temporary task force groups or performing ad-hoc analysis to support critical issues affecting our business. In this role you will be working with our supply chain systems and data analysis leading to recommendations for our management group. We are constantly looking to utilise various digitisation opportunities whereas it is expected that you keep an open mind towards utilising AI, Automation and Robotics in your solution and recommendations.
Qualifications
You have a degree at minimum master’s level in e.g., Business Analytics, Supply Chain Management, Economics, Engineering, Computer Science or similar with excellent results and a natural flair for process optimisation, process analysis and data investigation with the aim of highlighting challenges and suggesting possible solutions.
Below qualifications is a plus but not a requirement:
As a person, you are outgoing with a strong personal drive and dedication. Your strong interpersonal skills assist you in creating trustful relations across professions and business areas, and you bring a healthy sense of humour to your work – even when the pressure is on. You like being part of a professional team, have a high energy level, take initiative (proactive thinking) and work with a high level of engagement. You are motivated by being challenged both professionally and personally. You can work both independently and together with others. As we are a global company and an international team, fluency in both spoken and written English is required.
A high level of flexibility is a big part of the job as a supply chain LEAN partner. You will have some but limited travel between our sites in Denmark: Hillerød, Kalundborg and Bagsværd where you will be based. Some travel activities should be expected to our production sites in Brazil, USA, China and France (max 10 days/year).

- Experience with LEAN optimisation and LEAN tools
- Supply Chain optimisation within pharma
- Passion for process optimisation and value stream mapping
- Experience with performing data analysis
- Ability to work in a global environment both in person and virtually
- Ability to communicate complex quantitative analysis in a clear, precise and actionable way
- Understanding of supply chain management, hereby processes, network and end-to-end trade-offs
- Experience with working in ERP systems such as SAP or alike
