About the function Corporate Procurement is responsible for the indirect spend in Novo Nordisk and for defining and driving the global procurement strategy. Corporate Procurement
• Consists of 150 employees based in Denmark and India - globally 500 people work in procurement.

The Position This position gives you a unique opportunity for personal and professional development and further building on your career as an IT Category Manager. You will be coached by the Senior IT Category Managers, participate in our Global Procurement Academy and Global Procurement Network Programme. As an IT Category Manager, your main responsibilities will be to:
• Develop and execute local and global category strategies and collaboration with colleagues and stakeholders ensuring the best cost for value (TCO) is obtained
• Drive sourcing projects – from ideation, scoping, e-sourcing, (e)negotiation, to contracting and implementation.
• Manage supplier relationship - including supplier segmentation and strategy development and execution of planned activities.
• Business development - engage with users in the business to develop and quantify ideas for new projects, substitution, or value-adding activities that generate benefits and savings to the organisation.
• Coaching colleagues and taking a proactive role in the continuous development of the department and our team.
Qualifications You have a strong sourcing toolbox and you are confident in driving negotiations independently. You can use data to drive evidence-based decision-making, complete high-quality analysis, and make strong recommendations. We expect you to be curious and understand the value chain in a large organisation. Finally, you have excellent presentation skills and can communicate at all levels of the organisation.
Further qualifications:
• Master's Degree in, e.g. Business Administration, Chemistry, Engineering, Economics, Law, Supply Chain Management or similar with excellent results complemented with 2-4 years of relevant work experience
• Alternatively, you can possess a Bachelor Degree or equivalent complemented with 5 years of relevant experience working with, e.g., procurement project management, sourcing, category management, supply chain, or business development
• Excellent stakeholder management skills to help drive change management in a diverse customer landscape.
• Advanced skills with Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint
• Experience in Digital, Data and IT sourcing will be an advantage.
