As our new Project Director for OT/Automation, you will enable our IT, Automation & Digital Ambition in our Fill & Finish Expansions programme. In doing so, you will be steering the execution of automation in partnership with a massive cross-organizational stakeholder landscape across different departments, areas, and suppliers located globally.
You will be a key member of the leadership team for Fill & Finish Expansions – IT & Automation, joining a diverse team of leads representing both functional tracks such as IT & Infrastructure, PM, and Automation for other process areas.
In your new role, you will be leading a team of highly skilled automation specialists and senior project managers within OT/Automation, and will, among other things, be responsible for:
• Structuring, planning, and orchestrating the execution of IT, OT, and automation solutions globally across multiple new warehouse and IntraLogistics projects
• Co-creating and ensuring adherence to global standards and principles across the program in partnership with our domain architects
• Engaging with equipment suppliers and our internal teams defining the Tech Standards for IntraLogistics to drive & influence standardized automation solutions
• Collaborate with our delivery teams and work packages in the program to ensure roadmaps for critical IT/OT systems and warehouse solutions are aligned with the overall project schedules
• Secure readiness globally across people, technology & processes for factory and site acceptance testing, by driving operational readiness initiatives to ensure operational simplicity and smooth transition to operations

To be successful in this role, we imagine that you come from a background with significant experience in warehouse management and intralogistics with a proven track record of successfully leading projects related to warehouse optimization, automation, process improvement, and logistics operations. In addition, we hope that you will be able to tick most of the following boxes: • Strong project management skills with the ability to plan, organize, and execute complex projects
• The ability to navigate a complex stakeholder landscape to drive outcomes, where you will use your effective communication and interpersonal skills to drive intense collaboration with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and external vendors.
• Deep understanding of warehouse systems and technologies, including Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, automation solutions, and material handling equipment.
• Knowledge of emerging technologies such as robotics, AI, and IoT in the context of warehousing is an advantage.
• Strong abilities as a leader of project teams, where you can work independently and effectively, gaining energy from working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, with the ability to manage multiple priorities. About the Fill & Finish Expansion – IT & Automation
