Then, this is your chance as we are looking for a dedicated Senior Manager of Projects & Analytics in Logistics & Distribution (L&D).
The position As the Senior Manager for Projects & Analytics, your main objective is to provide effective people management for your team, ensuring high engagement and performance. This involves setting clear directions, motivating team members, coaching them, and supporting their development activities. By fostering a positive work environment and promoting individual growth, you maximize the team's potential.
You will be expected to actively contribute to driving strategy and optimizations within the department. By working closely with the rest of the management team, you will serve as a sparring partner, providing insights and expertise to shape the direction of our future supply chain, ensuring maximized value for our patients and the business.
Furthermore, you will handle complex issues and make important decisions involving several stakeholders across the Novo Nordisk organization. The job will give you a solid knowledge of the Supply chain and the Novo Nordisk organisation as it requires a strong focus on stakeholder management across functions and organisational levels.
Your key responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
• Drive strategy processes across L&D, supporting L&D mgmt. at all levels
• Support the Director on all areas where needed
• Initiate and drive projects across L&D to improve processes and develop the supply chain
• Drive Portfolio management at L&D level
• Drive the digital agenda in L&D, including initiating and carrying through automation and
digitalization initiatives
• Drive development and maintenance of dashboards
• Responsible for analytics across L&D
• Set standards for processes across L&D
• Foster a climate of continuous improvement and innovations You will independently drive several initiatives simultaneously and work closely with stakeholders across the organization, which requires that you have a good overview and the ability to execute multiple tasks simultaneously.
Qualifications
• An academic degree in supply chain, economics, engineering or similar
• At least 5 years of experience within supply chain or logistics and at least 1 year of people management experience
• Project Management and/or LEAN management experience
• The ability to set directions in developing business cases and constructively challenge on all levels of the organization On a personal level, you are curious, ambitious and have a critical sense. Building trusting relationships across organisational levels is natural for you and you can influence the organisation around you. You are fluent in spoken and written English. We expect you to have a great interest in Supply Chain processes and see every opportunity to improve the processes.
About the department
Logistics&Distribution (L&D) is a central Supply Chain & Finance organisation in Product Supply, managing all cross-functional logistical systems and processes and Finance. We are app. 47 employees in Bagsvaerd (DK) and 10 in Bangalore (India). The department assumes primary accountability for the global distribution of Novo Nordisk products across production sites, affiliates, and regional offices worldwide. Our core objective is to ensure exceptional service and delivery while striking a balance between minimizing our environmental footprint and mitigating financial implications. Additionally, we hold the responsibility for the secure storage of GxP products, encompassing both inbound and outbound distribution processes. While taking the responsibility for global distribution, L&D is responsible for overseeing and complying with all regulatory and quality requirements related to distribution of pharmaceuticals, managing the distribution cost and performance management of our warehouses and vendors.
