The Position As an Associate Category Manager for IT Consulting, your main responsibilities will be to: Support and drive sourcing projects – from ideation, scoping, e-sourcing, negotiation, to contract negotiation and implementation. Support development and implementation of category strategies aligned with overall direction and objectives from DD&IT. Work closely with internal stakeholders to understand business needs. Support and manage supplier relationship management activities, including supplier segmentation and strategy development and execution of planned activities. Business development - engage with users in the business to develop new projects and value-adding activities that generate benefits to the organisation.

Qualifications You hold a Bachelor or master’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Supply Chain Management, IT, or Engineering. The ideal candidate could have: Relevant experience working with IT Consulting (SI), Off-shore consultancy, Digitalization, IT Procurement (SW/SaaS) or management consulting. Experience working in a large organisation as an intern and preferably within procurement or in an IT department, will be considered an advantage. Project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to use data to drive decision-making. Advanced skills with Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint. Presentation and communication skills with the ability to work well with cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders. On a personal level, you present a “can-do” approach and results-oriented attitude, which enables you to establish strong professional relations internally and externally. You are a Team player and enjoy being part of a global work environment. You possess the ability to communicate complex issues in an easy-to-understand manner and to proactively manage numerous and changing priorities effectively. You can work independently as well as in a team environment. Most importantly, you are flexible, eager to take up new tasks and projects. About the department Corporate Procurement is responsible for the indirect spend in Novo Nordisk and for defining and driving the global procurement strategy.
