The position As a Supply Chain Specialist, you will become a key member of a small team that will drive portfolio complexity reduction to unlock capacity for growth and improve the patient experience, you will engage with key stakeholders across our therapy areas to provide expert Supply Chain (SC) insight to facilitate robust product lifecycle management. Within the day-to-day role you can expect to: Define the methodology and guardrails to manage complexity Support a portfolio review exercise to identify quick wins for harmonization or discontinuation Set up regular reviews of complexity development along the product lifecycle from clinical trial to launch to end-of-life and represent Supply Chain in those reviews Create the appropriate governance that bridges across functional areas Design the strategic direction and KPIs that will drive the future. The team will be working closely together with key pharma SC experts to drive portfolio optimization and at the same time work broadly across NN to manage the complex internal stakeholder landscape. You will be working in a transformation-oriented team requiring close coordination across multiple workstreams that will impact multiple functions. Qualifications To be a strong candidate for this position, you will possess most of the following: Master’s degree within relevant supply chain education Minimum of 10 years of supply chain experience including impactful portfolio complexity reduction initiatives Experience from and strong understanding of the pharma industry or equivalent highly regulated industry Preferably leadership experience, with impactful change management and communication skills with ability to influence across the organisation on all levels Strong analytical skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. As a person, you are a proactive leader and team player that naturally builds relations to colleagues and stakeholders in the organization, you can communicate complex matters to a variety of stakeholders with different levels of seniority and experience. In addition, you find it easy to evaluate issues and develop solutions that are both creative and effective for our organization. As we have international colleagues and stakeholders, from around the world, fluency in both spoken and written English is required. About the department You will be part of a global supply chain organisation, covering everything from production planning to strategic supply chain. With approx. 1.000 employees, we are a large and diverse team dedicated to delivering innovative solutions that meet the needs of our patients. As part of our global supply chain community, you will have the opportunity to work with talented professionals from around the globe, sharing knowledge and expertise to drive our organisation forward. The Supply Chain Transformation Office (TMO) is a newly established function under the global NN Supply Chain. The TMO has been put in place to drive several strategic workstreams across the full end 2 end supply chain of NN. The department will be growing in 2024 to become a strong function of SC +20 experts/leaders to drive the changes across NN and to ensure strong and impactful implementation in the line of business functions.
