As Director of Inbound Supply Management (ISM), you will be leading directly 4 Leaders and managing the whole ISM department, which is responsible for all inbound supply of raw materials and packaging materials across Novo Nordisk. Your key responsibilities include: Heading up a department of over 70 employees with a high service culture and strong dedication to safeguard our inbound supply in any situation Driving and ensuring execution on the strategy that enables us to serve our global customers and manufacturing sites in the best possible way, together with the management team Being a trusted advisor for the Corporate Vice President (CVP), challenging the status quo and seeking opportunities for digitalisation and strategic transformation in close collaboration with Sourcing Operations and Novo Nordisk Engaging and collaborating with a highly diverse and rich stakeholder landscape, both internally across Novo Nordisk and externally with global customers, through proactive and transparent communication You will report to the CVP for Sourcing Operations and become a member of an ambitious, authentic and trustful management team. Qualifications To be considered for this position, we expect you to: Hold a master’s degree Have at least 5 years of leadership experience with a proven track record of driving high performance teams delivering measurable business improvements through collaboration Have a solid supply chain management experience and understanding Possess strong stakeholder management and communication skills Be fluent in English (both written and spoken) As a person, you are a people leader by nature with the ability to coach and manage through others in a complex and global stakeholder landscape. You are renowned for your ability to set challenging goals and challenge status quo. You are a skilled communicator and thrive in cooperating with a variety of stakeholders. Lastly, you have high degree of independence and takes initiatives to redefine ways of doing things and to drive innovative improvements. About the Department
Inbound Supply Management is part of Sourcing Operations (SoOp), which is overall responsible for the inbound supply chain of Novo Nordisk and consist of 450 dedicated employees. We use our differences to create novel ideas and high-quality solutions to ensure continuous improvement of the Sourcing Operations function globally. You will be working in the headquarters with an environment characterized by innovation, openness and highly engaged colleagues who works dedicated to help us change lives for the better for patients around the world.
