The position
As our new Advanced Supply Professional you will have the overall responsibility and, together with a colleague, be the single point of contact for having the overview for supply and production of Single Dose Device’s (SDD). That includes being responsible for: Host weekly meetings with customers to review supply situation in the short to medium term (8 weeks to 1 year) Maintain an overview of the supply situation in the short to medium term horizon in close collaboration with filling and pack planners, S&OP partner and E2E planner Align on actions with regards to supply plan update after each forecast update cycle Communicate on supply risks and volume impact in the short to medium term horizon Maintain close communication with planners on potential idle time on the assembly/pack lines to secure maximum utilisation of capacity Maintain a central overview of the optimised assembly/pack plan across the different sites along with a plan for the optimum distribution of the filling batches It is expected that you can work independently and are highly skilled at stakeholder management, as you will be working with stakeholders from S&OP, logistic areas and management at the production sites, purchasing and finance.
The position is a newly created position so you will have the chance to influence the setup and be able to have an impact on how the tasks are solved.
Qualifications
We expect you to have more than 5 year of purchase planner experience, optimally some years related to either clinical supplies or test material production, and that you have a relevant university degree preferable in Supply Chain Management, Finance or similar. It is an advantage if you have experience with the logistical setup in a manufacturing company. We expect you to have excellent data, presentation, and analytical skills and preferable you have previously worked with SAP, OMP or similar. The candidate we are looking for is good at communicating on different organisational levels, can take initiative and be proactive, have no problems with working independently and is excellent at translating complex situations. You have the ability to quickly change gears from being deep in analysing data to taking fast decisions to looking for elements of the supply chain to optimise. Lastly, as Operational Planning is an international department with a global footprint you must be able to speak and write English fluently. About the department
Supply Chain Planning & Logistics is an area within Product Supply that supports all Novo Nordisk A/S global production sites in supplying the best Supply Chain Processes, systems, and data to support them in a smooth execution of their daily operations. Hereunder having responsibility for identifying and executing strategic supply chain projects in close collaboration with both internal and external stakeholders. Operational Planning department is overall responsible for the short-term planning horizon and many initiatives and projects.
