As a Supply Chain Professional, your focus will be to both manage the daily operations with your key stakeholders as well as mapping and visualising our key processes related to warehouse operations. This is a great opportunity to grow your academic career by getting deep insights into Logistics and thereby build a strong foundation for your future growth. You will be a part of a team of 7 colleagues whereof 6 are in Denmark while 1 colleague is working in India. Your main responsibilities will be to: Execute daily operational tasks within warehousing Write and maintain SOPs and other relevant quality documents Monitor stock levels incl. follow-up with relevant stakeholders Drive projects to optimise our daily operations – both short and long term Map and visualise our operational processes within warehousing Provide support to our key stakeholders to maintain stable warehouse operations Qualifications
In order for you to be successful in this position, the following qualifications are required: A bachelor’s degree within e.g. Supply Chain or Logistics Experience with project management Experienced user of SAP Fluency in written and spoken English and skilled in MS Office As a person, you are: Driven by continuously improving existing processes Proactive, responsible and have a curious mind-set A fast learner with a solution and service-oriented mind-set Able to inspire and challenge your stakeholder You will get the opportunity to join a diverse team with dedicated colleagues who support each other and work together to excel, and who juggle many different processes and requirements. About the department
Global Logistics & Distribution (GL&D) is overall responsible for the global logistics and distribution of Novo Nordisk products between production sites and to our affiliates and regional offices across the globe, focusing on delivering a high service while balancing environmental footprint with financial impact. Furthermore, we are responsible for the storage of GxP products, including inbound and outbound distribution. We are a department of about 75 employees, divided in Global Logistics, Global Distribution, Global L&D Development & Sustainability, and Global GDP Compliance & Transport Control. You will become a part of Global Logistics, Process & Execution. GL&D is part of Supply chain & Business Development, a central Supply Chain organization in Novo Nordisk’s Product Supply, managing all cross-functional logistical systems and processes.
