Are you our new Distribution Coordinator within Corporate Supply Chain? This is a unique opportunity for you to be part of Ambu’s Distribution team in an exciting role as Distribution Coordinator. We are looking for a new colleague who wants to come join us on our journey of growing and improving our complex global distribution. As a distribution coordinator you well get to work with both operational shipping assignments but also with administration and optimization of current processes.
You will join the Distribution Team, which currently comprises of 4 experienced and dedicated colleagues with a broad background within Shipping, Distribution and Warehousing. You will report to the Head of Distribution and work closely together with the distribution colleagues who ensure the physical flow of Ambu’s products so it is available across the globe. Stakeholders within Ambu, but also our logistics partners, are critical for us to continuously support scalable solutions, enabling the Ambu Innovation Race. We expect this is a motivation for you as well.
The Distribution team works out of Ambu’s headquarters in Ballerup.

The Distribution team works out of Ambu’s headquarters in Ballerup.
Responsibilities
- Handle monthly distribution accounting process
- Responsible for updating and managing supplier information
- Drive task on achieving strategic goals for shipping
- Support and drive projects within compliance and shipping
- Optimize current shipping and distribution processes through mappings and workshops
- Create better supply chain transparency
- Year-end-reporting to finance
- Advice on transport options, delivery terms and freight calculations
- Booking and preparation of main route shipments through nominated forwarders, incl. issuance of relevant documents COO, ATA, SFDA, Letter and Credit docs., etc.
- Freight quotations, evaluate and negotiate conditions
- Handle transport related claims with forwarders and Insurance partner
- Managing freight rates master data
Experience within Shipping/Distribution:
- At least 2-3 years of relevant work experience from a similar position
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative team-oriented mindset
- High energetic drive, motivation, and accountability
- You have a relevant education and fluency in English, both spoken and written
- It’s a plus to have worked with a 3PL setup and with shipments out of/to Far East
- Knows how to work in an ERP system
