You will lead our supply chain team in Demant, Ballerup with the responsibility of tactical and operational planning process. The team is highly engaged with a strong business identity that operates and interacts with different levels of the organizations in Denmark and Poland. The department is a very important part of the Demant hearing aid group and plays a leading role to ensure the best capacity and production planning in Ballerup and in close cooperation with our colleagues in Poland. You will be reporting to the VP of Global Amplifier Operations, and working closely with the Global Supply Chain organization, on a daily basis.
The department interacts with different levels of the organization and takes responsibility for the daily follow up, performance reporting and coordinating activities within the two amplifier units. You will also be responsible for developing the team and drive continuous improvement activities adding value to the business.

You will be working close with global and local colleagues in both the hearing aid division as well as the amplifier production.

Your role as Supply Chain Manager
If you choose us, you can look forward to the following tasks and responsibilities:
- Further develop, manage, and lead the supply chain team in Ballerup consisting of 1 purchaser and 7 warehouse and incoming inspection employees. You will take on the role as ‘playing coach’
- Review and improve processes in the planning area using your Lean knowledge and experience
- Continuously improve our processes by using our GMS principles
- Coordinate and participate in two site capacity planning
- Production planning and implementing forecast changes
- Develop and implement guiding principles for planning activities focusing on value adding improvements
- Be accountable for planning both operational and tactical level
- Report performance in supply chain including further develop overview for management
Production planning experience
We are looking for a new colleague who is motivated to become part of a well-functioning team adding your learnings and experience. If you have several years of experience within production planning principles, and you see yourself as a ‘playing coach’ you could be the person that we are looking for.
Being interested in developing and taking your team to the next level while performing and meeting expectations is also essential in the job. Furthermore, we are looking for a new colleague who has an analytic mindset which can be used for further strengthening our reporting.
Ensuring clear communication
You have strong communication skills enabling clear communication to the colleagues and employees around you in Denmark and Poland. Working in a high paced environment comes naturally and you operate with profound stakeholder management and presentation skills. Perhaps you hold a relevant master or bachelor’s degree within the field of supply chain, with a focus on production. Currently, you are most likely working within planning and/or supply chain.
This may be your first manager position; if so, we will ensure that you get the right back up, training and sparring. We expect you to have profound English language skills, as it is our company language. Finally, you feel comfortable presenting to different levels of the organization.
You should expect 10-15 travel days per year. The travels will be mainly to our main production sites in Poland.
