Are you interested in having a key function in controlling, optimizing and ensuring stock levels, movements and document administration? If yes, then this position at Total in Esbjerg office might be your match!

Key Responsibilities
Overall, you have the responsibility of providing accurate stock data, which must be valid, accurate and up-to-date. Furthermore, you will ensure the buy-in of the Technical Administrator in the maintenance of the stock data with respect of the technical aspects.

These areas of responsibilities will include tasks such as:

  • Ensure the maintenance of the Material Master Records in SAP;
  • Check and monitor stock requisitions, approve stock requisitions until 25.000 USD and make sure that stock owners are validating the more expensive items;
  • Assure consistency between SAP and physical stock by reporting Physical Inventories and participating in annual stock counts;
  • Validate the Material Request form prior to sending it to the Central Cell;
  • Ensure stock movements by the warehouse staff are done in line with applicable operational and accounting procedures;
  • Secure that obsolete stock is identified and disposed in accordance with the applicable procedures;
  • Provide good administration, filing and update of all the documents in SAP;
  • Ensure that all approvals, justifications, circulation forms, etc. are filed in line with the applicable procedures.

As Stock Controller in Contract & Procurement Department, you will be able to shape and develop a central role in challenging the internal requestors to the need for stocking material. This is with the possibility to continuously learn and develop your competencies in controlling stocks and maintaining Material Masters in respect of Company rules, HSE rules, internal procedures and applicable legislation. You will get to use your knowledge and experience applying a range of techniques when optimizing and ensuring stock availability and updating stock levels in a continuous balance with delivery times.

Duration: 1 year with the opportunity to extend.

Candidate profile

Your background

  • Bachelor degree or equivalent in technical purchasing and logistics
  • Relevant experience within Oil & Gas operations;
  • Knowledge of procurement scope and processes in the Upstream Oil & Gas Industry;
  • Commercial awareness, ability to compare and assess the commercial strength of technical quotes;
  • Experience with SAP, in particular Material Management Routines and Business Warehouse;
  • Experienced user in MS Excel;
  • Proficiency in oral and written English.
