Are you a professional in the field of supply chain management looking for a new and exciting challenge? Then this is the perfect opportunity for to take your career to the next level and influence the tactical and strategic development of sourcing at Semco Maritime!
You will be part of our purchasing department with 30 colleagues working globally on the projects in and across our divisions. Your primary role will be supporting our P&T division, which supplies telecommunication and firefighting systems to the offshore energy sector. It is a dynamic international division with many opportunities.
Your tasks and responsibilities
As our new Strategic Sourcing Buyer, you will be taking the responsibility for negotiating the commercial terms with the suppliers, and through a disciplined and organized approach, highlight and manage any risks to the projects that may arise from the supply base. You will also get the opportunity to take the responsibility for strategic cost out activities, including category management and supplier relationship management.
Your tasks will include but are not limited to:
Your qualifications and skills
We expect that you have a relevant supply chain or technical education or at least 3-5 years of experience within procurement. It is crucial for the position that you have experience with contract negotiation and that you have a technical interest.

- Ensuring correct prices, terms, and conditions from suppliers
- Negotiating purchase agreements and managing supplier relationships
- Placing orders and order management including expediting
- Category management and responsibility for special product groups
- Stakeholder management
Your qualifications and skills
We expect that you have a relevant supply chain or technical education or at least 3-5 years of experience within procurement. It is crucial for the position that you have experience with contract negotiation and that you have a technical interest.

- Have solid communication skills in English at a high level
- Have a positive mindset and the ability to influence your surroundings
- Are a team-player, but can still work independently
- Possess the ability to prioritise your time and tasks
