The position
As our Supply Chain Project Manager, you will be situated within Intralogistics, AP Expansion and will be responsible for developing the supply chain overview of products and material flow for our warehouse/ logistics throughout the AP Expansion global program. To do this, you will have overview of products and movement of products and raw materials coming in and leaving the factories and will be collaborating with other functions to ensure effective implementation of the project.
On a global scale, you will be identifying and defining the needed solution for a specific process, together with external stakeholders, vendors, and work package owners (WPO) responsible for the process.
Your activities will include:
You will have the opportunity to be part of the core team in building and designing the new organisation and setting the standard whilst in collaboration with AP and Finished Production (FP).
Your workplace will be based Gentofte but as there is collaboration required on a global scale with our sites based in Europe, China, and US, some international travel will be required. It is estimated this will be a few days per month.

As a professional, you have the bigger picture in mind and have worked strategically to drive processes on a global scale. Furthermore, you have great communication skills with the ability to navigate a complex stakeholder landscape. For this position, you are required to be fluent in spoken and written English.
About the department
You will be joining AP Expansions, which stands for expansions of Aseptic Production (AP). The area is anchored in Product Supply, Quality & IT, which globally employ approx. 20,000 of Novo Nordisk’s 50,000 employees.
AP Expansions is a newly established and growing area with the responsibility to design, plan and built all new aseptic filling capacity across Novo Nordisk to serve needs of millions of patients. We do it by rethinking our aseptic production facilities with the use of modern technology, as we are setting the standards for the aseptic production of the future. Facilities designed today which we will still be proud of 20 years from now. AP Expansions has a clearly global approach, where you will be working with multiple sites and cultures across the world.
Intralogistics is a newly established department. Whilst reporting into the Director of Intralogistics, you will have the opportunity to work alongside 12 consultants helping shape the organisation. Our main goal is to develop an Intralogistics standard covering all material handling from goods in to good out of the factories. This involves designing the process very thoroughly to secure all interfaces is designed in the best possible ways.

The position

- Understanding and map external and internal product and material flows.
- Understanding and document intralogistics capacities needs and maintain capacity models.
- Planning and executing all related tasks/processes using standard project tools.
You will have the opportunity to be part of the core team in building and designing the new organisation and setting the standard whilst in collaboration with AP and Finished Production (FP).
Your workplace will be based Gentofte but as there is collaboration required on a global scale with our sites based in Europe, China, and US, some international travel will be required. It is estimated this will be a few days per month.
Qualifications
Your experiences include:
- Bachelors, Master’s or PhD in Engineering, pharmacy, Business or similar.
- 3+ years of experience within supply chain/ logistics. It is advantageous if this from the pharmaceutical industry.
- Strong leadership and project management skills with experience executing complex projects on a global scale.
- Knowledge with LEAN processes.
- Great stakeholder management skills and building relations in a global context.
