The position As Supply Chain Planner, your primary responsibility is to ensure a consistent and reliable supply of devices from our suppliers to our global production network, guaranteeing that our suppliers deliver products on time and in full, aligning with the demand from our internal customers in production. Your main tasks include:
  • Conducting purchase planning of devices from our suppliers
  • Executing operational and tactical planning in SAP APO and SAP ECC systems
  • Defining optimal inventory policies and continuously improving our own processes with a Lean mindset
  • Ensuring accurate maintenance of master data and transaction data in our systems
  • Fostering strong relationships with both suppliers and internal stakeholders, particularly with supply managers, manufacturing sites, and quality control
    • Qualifications To succeed in this role, we imagine you:
  • Hold at least a bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business Administration or similar, along with a minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience
  • Possess experience in process optimization and proficiency with LEAN tools
  • Have a solid business understanding coupled with hands-on experience in either operational or tactical planning
  • Showcase fluency in both written and spoken English
    • This position might be perfect for you if you possess a sharp eye for details, a strong analytical mindset, and great problem-solving abilities, you enjoy working with systems, know the importance of reliable data, and have experience in utilizing advanced planning tools like APO, OMP, or similar. Having an interest in BI tools such as Alteryx, Tableau and PowerBI would be an advantage. As a person, you bring an international mindset, exceptional collaboration and stakeholder management skills, and a talent for clear and concise communication. You find motivation in the pursuit of optimization and continuous improvement, consistently delivering high-quality results while meeting deadlines. Moreover, you demonstrate a high degree of resilience when priorities are changing and when there are urgent supply situations to deal with. About the department Novo Nordisk is significantly increasing its manufacturing capacity across all areas to serve more patients. To this end, a new DMS II business unit has recently been created to ensure medical device component manufacturing and pre-assembly capacity for future growth.
