The position
In Biotech & Rare Disease (BRD) we are planning to expand our production facilities in Hillerød, Denmark, to meet the future needs of our growing product pipeline.
Our goal is to achieve Instant Release of our products by real-time quality control and exception-based release, making integration and digitalization crucial. The integration of our MES system, PAS-X, with the central SAP system is essential to facilitate material consumption transactions and traceability.
In this international work environment, you will be driving tasks related to the SAP S/4 HANA production planning including maintenance of an SAP Batch model (BOM structure), identifying SAP Meta data in close collaboration with Automation, Process-responsible, QA and our core SAP Teams. Your tasks will also involve executing operations related to product changes and the creation of new SAP batch models and metadata updates.
You will play a central role in maintaining and optimizing Master Data related to our interface configurations while ensuring the stability and support of our production. In this position, you will primarily work with interfaces between different IT systems, including SAP (SAP S/4 HANA and SAP EWM), PAS-X & DeltaV. Your main responsibilities will include:
• Identify, structure, verify, upload and test SAP S/4 HANA Master Data related to production, quality, and inventory management.
• Change control and management related to production master data.
• Ensure master data integrity over interfaces like S/4 HANA, EWM, PAS-X and EWM.
• SAP-MES (S/4 HANA to-fro PAS-X) interface exception handling and error management.
• Development of SAP batch models in close collaboration with Automation- and Process responsible.
• Contributing to the efficient execution of our manufacturing processes during hyper-care period after project ends, and the facility enters production.
• Work closely with the PAS-X team to understand the mechanics between PAS-X, SAP S/4 HANA & DeltaV and enhance integration for future optimizations. Qualifications
We are seeking a candidate with technical or IT Project implementation experience, including daily operations in a production context, and a strong understanding of S/4 HANA Master Data.
To succeed in this role, we expect you to also have: • A relevant academic degree in computer science, IT or related fields.
• Minimum 3 years of proven SAP experience working in SAP in GMP or any other regulated area.
• Understanding of production processes such as Batch Management, Inventory Management, Quality Management, Product costing in SAP.
• Hands-on SAP master data maintenance experience.
• Fluency in English, both oral and written, with Danish as an advantage. Bonus Qualifications: • Experience with S/4 HANA.
• Experience in a regulated and automated production environment and experience with one or preferably more of the following: Automation, Digitalisation, and Integration will also be advantageous.
• Experience in production support, preferably including knowledge of API in a GMP-regulated environment. Preferable experience with validation/qualification.
• General knowledge of API (Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient) processes, MES (Manufacturing Executing System) systems, DCS (Distributed Control system) systems.
• Comfortable with end-user training. On a professional level, we expect a structured working approach and a focus on high data quality. Our team is working to expand the API capacity of our Biotech production in Hillerød. You will become a part of one of the most significant expansion projects in Novo Nordisk – and when finished the facility will employ app. 340 colleagues. The highly automated facility will be equipped with state-of-the-art technology that is flexible to accommodate new processes and products. It will expand our capacity for our portfolio of clinical late phase products to serve more people living with serious chronic diseases including rare diseases.
