Supply Chain Professional

Are you the one who can secure the deliveries of our life saving medical device products, and would you like to cooperate with stakeholders across the organisation and throughout the world? If so, here is a challenging and exciting job opportunity as Supply Chain Professional at our Novo Nordisk production site in Hjørring called Needle Manufacturing & Sourcing. The position Together with two colleagues, you will be planning the production activities at our strategic contract manufacturer in Japan. This is based on orders and forecast from our customers worldwide. Your ability to deliver on time, to secure safety stocks, and to reduce shipping cost will make you a success in this position. You will operate in both an operational and tactical environment and collaborate across the organisation. As Supply Chain Professional, you will be working closely together with many stakeholders in Novo Nordisk A/S, including quality assurance, quality control, production, suppliers, and customers. You will be part of supply chain projects at our site, where we continually improve the supply chain processes. You will continuously focus on ensuring a robust and cost-efficient supply chain, and you will have the opportunity to influence our processes and affect the way we work with our stakeholders, both internally and externally. Production planning activities for our manufacturing and delivery of pen needles on time to our customers worldwide is in focus in this position. These tasks are key for our continued performance and success as a company.
Your Qualifications
You have an educational background or experience within supply chain management, procurement management or similar is an advantage. You have an eye for data and IT systems. Preferably, you have experience working with our ERP system, SAP. To succeed in this position, you:
• hold a bachelor or master’s degree
• have 3-5 years of experience from GMP regulated areas
• have a structured approach and have the full overview of your actions and changes
• need to include stakeholders proactively and be able to implement risk mitigations that enables timely execution of actions.
• are expected to communicate fluent in both written and spoken English since it is the company language. On a personal level, you are known for your drive, positive mindset, and collaboration skills. You enjoy working in a dynamic environment with changing priorities. About the department
You will be part of our Supply Chain Management team which is responsible for our suppliers of raw materials to our pen needle production in Hjørring and our contract manufacturer in Japan. We are operating both operational, tactical, and strategic with our suppliers around the world. We are 17 dedicated and skilled colleagues in the team who collaborate to make the most efficient and robust supply chain that delivers high quality products to our customers around the world.
