ALK is on an ambitious journey to become the preferred allergy company globally which is why we are looking for two new colleagues to join us, at the ALK headquarter in Hørsholm.
The position
For our Global Supply Chain team, we are looking for two new colleagues. Together with the colleagues in the team, you will be the responsible for our Sales and Operations Planning process, and for our medium- and long-term capacity planning. On top, you will be the key person when it comes to analyzing and presenting options to improve our Supply Plans.
In order to succeed, you will be working closely with your new colleagues in the Global Supply Chain team, as well as with ALK colleagues in Commercial Operations, our Global Production Sites, Quality Assurance (QA), Quality Control (QC) and Finance.

The position
For our Global Supply Chain team, we are looking for two new colleagues. In order to succeed, you will be working closely with your new colleagues in the Global Supply Chain team, as well as with ALK colleagues in Commercial Operations, our Global Production Sites, Quality Assurance (QA), Quality Control (QC) and Finance.
Your fields of responsibility
- Responsible for leading the Sales and Operations Planning Process, for a group of our products. The responsibility covers the entire production process from Source Materials and ends with the Supply to Distribution inventories or customers, so you will have the overview of an entire supply chain.
- Drive the quarterly Sales and Operations Planning process, from receiving Sales Forecast to final conclusion of the quarterly Production Agreements, and thereby ensuring that our Production plans are aligned with our inventory targets.
- Responsible for maintaining overviews of current and future capacity, and for driving analyses that will lead to decisions regarding future capacity expansions, Product launches and Product discontinuations
- Follow our production and release processes, and you will be key in measuring and reporting how we progress against our production and release plans.
- As a member of the Global Supply Chain function you will also be expected to contribute to the development of the GSC function and to the ALK planning processes globally.
Your qualifications
- You hold a Masters's Degree in Supply Chain or Production Planning, and you have 3-10 years' work experience. Alternatively, you have acquired solid experience within the field from working in a Supply Chain team.
- You understand the dynamics in a long supply chain, and you understand how to include both long-term and short-term perspectives in the planning process.
- You have a flair for numbers, and you have an eye for the details.
- You are excellent in performing analyses in Excel, and experienced working with complex data from various sources.
- You work in a structured way, and you are able to work with multiple scenarios in a highly complex environment
- Your communication skills in English are solid, both written and verbal, and you have a talent for presenting your analyses in a way that supports decision making.
- You thrive on coordinating processes and collaboration with other people, and it is natural for you to proactively involve relevant stakeholders in your daily work.
