Student Assistant, Group Supply Chain

Faerch is owned by A.P. Moller Group and is a leading supplier to the global food industry with sustainable packaging solutions. We are leading the transition into circular economy in the market with more than 2.200 employees distributed between 16 production sites. Faerch is growing rapidly in size and complexity and therefore we are on the lookout for a student assistant to support with various analytical tasks. You will be a part of a small innovative team in the cross-over between Supply Chain and Digitalization. You will refer to Digitalization Director, Mathias Fisker Jensen.

The job

We offer you a student assistant position in Supply Chain with a cross-over to Digitalization. The office is located in Holstebro and we expect you to work 8 hours per week with flexibility according to your class schedule and exams.

Support & optimize supply chain operations with your analytical capabilities

• Analyze sales patterns and production output
• Optimize forecast process
• Build analytical tools in Excel, R or Python
• Build and deliver reports in our Business Intelligence tool useful for supply chain as well as sales and production

Work with state-of-the-art technology in collaboration with digital team

• Assist in the implementation of a new planning tool (SAP IBP) that aims to improve supply chain operations in the group
• Play a part in the digital transformation of our demand planning process
• Experiment with technology trends of Industry 4.0 like IoT and XR

About you

• You are about to finish your studies of relevance which could be either a bachelor or master’s degree within business administration, supply chain, technology or similar. You are able to convert your theoretical knowledge into practical business value and comfortable working autonomously with complex problems. With your analytical skillset, you are able to process large datasets and provide stakeholders from all levels with insights.
