The position
We offer you a position in a new team, where career opportunities will occur as it expands. In this job, you can look forward to handling complex decision-making processes in a dynamic environment, working with a supportive team, innovating and optimising across functions and the value stream.
Your key tasks will be to:
• Draw actionable insights from (big) data, in order to improve business performance within the Supply Chain domain.
• Develop, implement, and maintain Supply Chain data pipelines and models to support strategic decision-making and weekly reporting.
• Manage inventory planning and ensure that strategic and operational inventory targets are met.
• Manage the raw material in the short-term and long-term budget strategy for API manufacturing.
• Act as a sparring partner to production, in order to drive improvements in the manufacturing process and to meet the increasing demand.
You will be a single point of contact between the central and local teams. Your insights will support senior management in their decisions, and you will be able to develop a broad network across the organisation.
Qualifications
To succeed in this role, we imagine that you have:
• knowledge of SAP, Alteryx and OMP (or alternative data analytic tools) – at least two of them would be required
• experience in developing dashboards
• Master’s degree in Data Science, Supply chain, Finance, Industrial engineering, or a related field
• proficiency in English.
It would be an advantage if you have experience in supply chain or production planning processes, preferably in the pharma industry. It would also be an advantage to have experience in managing projects involving multiple stakeholders. To thrive in this job, it would be important that you always try to understand the occurring problems and offer comprehensive global and holistic solutions.
About the department
API (Active pharmaceutical ingredients) Supply Chain & Analytics is the central department for the API manufacturing units in Denmark and US. We are responsible for managing API Sales & Operations Planning activities and inventory management. We also provide analytical consultancy for supply chain tasks for API and stakeholders through advanced analytics and other relevant Digital Supply Chain Enhancement tools.
