The position
As Business Support Director, you will report to the Corporate Vice President (CVP) of Biotech & Rare Disease (BRD) Aseptic Production in Kalundborg, Denmark and be part of the management group. You will be responsible for shaping our future Business Support department in close collaboration with our management team. To keep up with our growing production demands, the department is crucial in managing and planning projects, production plans etc. Your main responsibilities will be focused on:
• Driving the growth and development of our capacity in close collaboration with your key stakeholders
• Being part of driving the strategic development of BRD AP KA
• Evaluating and developing skills and behavior while effectively managing your team through consistent feedback and recognition
• Securing transparent change management, sustainable succession planning for key positions to maintain stability in the area
• Overseeing the development and deployment of the strategy
• Developing and executing project portfolio management, including investments, facility renovation, compliance, etc
The Business Support Director will hold the overall responsibility for defining the Business Support on various areas including strategy deployment through LEAN tools like Hoshin Kanri, business intelligence and development and it is in all these areas the department is expected to grow.
Qualifications
To be a competitive candidate, you should have:
• A master’s degree in a related field (Life Science, Engineering or Business Administration) and full professional proficiency in English. Danish would be an advantage
• Extensive experience in leading and developing teams and employees
• Profound knowledge in change management and stakeholder management when it comes to implementing new ways of working
• Experience from either supply chain planning or pharmaceutical production
• Experience with strategy development and deployment, business intelligence and LEAN methodologies On a personal note, you have an analytical, persistent, and curious mindset. You are motivated by challenging assignments, and you absorb new knowledge quickly. Aseptic Production Kalundborg is part of BRD. At our site in Kalundborg, we are more than 650 colleagues responsible for transforming the API (Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient) into the finished medicine for people living with serious chronic diseases. We work with advanced processes such as formulation, filling, freeze-drying in a sterile environment. We bring value to our patients by delivering high-quality products in accordance with GMP in a timely and cost-effective manner as we constantly optimize our processes and invest in the latest technology.
