Novo Nordisk Pharmatech is looking for a Category Manger in Procurement to join our rapidly growing organization.
Can you translate strategic ideas into specific sourcing-related decisions, and be the expert of Source to Contract and Purchase to Pay processes? Do you enjoy working with Procurement Policies? This is a position in a small but growing team, supporting the whole organization with expertise in Category Management within Indirect Area. You can look forward to ensuring that local purchasers in various departments adhere to our systems and policies. In addition, you will be: • The expert in our procurement processes (Source to contract, Purchase to pay, supplier management)
• Coming up with improvements and suggestions for savings
• Executing on category management
• Guiding different stakeholders across the company
• Handling selected negotiations
• Giving input to and gathering information for category strategies
• Independently formulating category strategies for selected categories under Senior Sourcing & Category Manager’s guidance
• Supplier manager for selected NNPR suppliers
• Responsible for running sourcing events in Coupa
• Coupa support to local purchasers
• Contracting support to local purchasers Qualifications
• A Bachelor or Master’s degree supported with relevant job experience
• Preferably a minimum of 2 years of experience working with Category Management and Procurement
• Solid Experience with working in Coupa
• Analytical mindset with flair for IT
• Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills
• Proficiency in English About the department The Supply chain and Procurement team is part of Business Support at Novo Nordisk Pharmatech A/S. You will be joining 13 colleagues responsible for direct procurement, sourcing, planning, and strategic indirect procurement. Working at Novo Nordisk Pharmatech Novo Nordisk Pharmatech A/S (NNPR) is located in Køge, Denmark, and is 100% owned by Novo Nordisk. The company has close to 400 employees and the core task of the business is to enable better medicines through biopharmaceutical manufacturing for Novo Nordisk as well as for the global industry. NNPR are in the coming years expanding an already wide product portfolio within Enzymes, Synthetic Molecules and Resins.
