MHI Vestas Offshore Wind is looking for a Supply Chain Coordinator to join our NPI department (New Product Introduction) in Supply Chain Engineering – Assembly. With reference to the NPI Manager, you can look forward to an exciting, busy and challenging job working from the Nacelle factory in Munkebo, Denmark.
Tasks & responsibilities: You will…
…focus on the design changes coming through the Engineering Change Management system (ECM system). This requires both reviewing the changes from a Sourcing perspective but also communicating internally to the Sourcing department and to the suppliers when it comes to the implementation of the new designs.
You will also:
Represent Sourcing in product development activities and new product implementations Participate in Change Boards on behalf of Sourcing Handle the Sourcing related tasks in the Manufacturing Changes Notes ensuring the suppliers deliver a price quote, lead time, etc. Upload documentation to the Supplier SharePoint site either as super user or support provider Develop and deploy documents relating to the Sourcing activities in the ECM process and the Supplier SharePoint Identify and address gaps in the process and continuously seek to develop the area of responsibility Answer ad hoc questions regarding the changes coming through the ECM system
Skills & experience: Our new colleague…
…has 2-3 years of experience from a similar position. As a person, you are result oriented, able to collaborate on all levels, and good at communicating. You also need to be a team player able to spot possibilities for improvements and getting your energy from achieving team results.
We expect that you:
Hold a Bachelor’s degree within Engineering, Business development or similar Have an understanding of Sourcing processes and methods Have an understanding of the value chain in a manufacturing company Can cope with and understand complex processes/structures/systems Have strong analytical skills Speak, read and write English An advantage would be if you: Have MS Project, Excel, PowerPoint and SharePoint skills Have knowledge of ECM processes and PLM systems Speak, read and write Danish
