You will be responsible
The logistic manager will lead the team and plan the activities of the equipment assigned to him.
He will be responsible for planning, coordination of transportation and lifting operations.
Responsible of a pool of 5 trucks, 40 trailers, 3 cement tank trailers, 2 truck mounted crane, 4 mobile cranes, and some forklifts…, he will plan the dispatching of the equipment per the request of the internal clients within the project.
He manages a team of 60 to 80 drivers, operators and riggers working on shift to cover the 24 h, 7 days a week.
He organizes de rotation of trucks in the factory to supply steel rebar (2500 tons per week) from the berth to the rebar factories, cement (6000 tons per week) from the silos to the batching plants, and other construction materials from the store to the production units, and support the need of the construction departments in terms of logistic and lifting.
Furthermore, he is in charge to organise the department and he leads the mobilisation of necessary equipment and identification and recruitment of the personal.
He has under his responsibility the lifting section, with the crane operators and riggers and leaded by a lifting supervisor
He reports to the Plant Manager.

Logistic Duties

- Staff scheduling in close coordination with the plant manager
- Planning of transports on the construction site
- Planning of assignation of the logistic and lifting equipment to the construction and support units.
- Prepare and Review the lifting plans
- Schedule necessary training and qualification of the operators, drivers, and riggers under it is supervision.
- Coordinate with the mechanical workshop the maintenance of the equipment under his supervision
Eligibility/Qualifications/Requirements
- A minimum of 10 years of experience on civil works project.
- Serious experience in lifting operation, qualified as appointed person
- Former experience in a similar position
- Experience in staff management
- Social competence
- Speaking fluently English
- Knowledge of the Danish and European rules.
- Knowledge of the common MS Office applications
- A confident manner, team spirit and a reliable way of working
