Therefore, we are looking for a Head of SCM Logistics to support and developer our Supply Chain for this increased demand.
With direct reference to our Head of Operations & Logistics, you will become a member of Kamstrup’s Global Operations & Logistics leadership team. You will be responsible for a team of 40 competent and dedicated employees with three strong middle managers for Production Planning, Operational Purchasing and Warehouse/Logistics and a highly skilled group of three Logistics Specialists. The team is responsible for S&OP, Production Planning, Operational Purchasing, Shipping, Warehouse, Inventory, ERP implementation, delivery concepts and optimization projects globally.
A job with focus on securing a smooth flow through the value chain and excellent customer experiences
As our new Head of SCM Logistics you will be responsible for taking the leadership of the SCM Logistics area and ensure that the entire Supply Chain is optimized and we can ensure a high quality delivery to our customers and an excellent customer experience.
More specifically, you will be responsible for:
As we are implementing a new ERP system in Kamstrup, you and the team will also plan a central role in securing a smooth “go live” and for optimization projects including harvesting benefits of the new ERP system.
In the job you should expect approx. 20 travel days a year.

You consider yourself as being a self-starter with a strong drive and you have the ability to move and change things and turn strategy into concrete and value adding action based on facts. You have an analytical and structured approach to your work, and it is therefore natural for you to work result oriented and have a focus on detail. You put a pride in developing leaders and specialist, team performance and motivation.
You have a Master’s degree in SCM, Planning, Logistics or similar. In addition, it is a requirement that you:

As our new Head of SCM Logistics you will be responsible for taking the leadership of the SCM Logistics area and ensure that the entire Supply Chain is optimized and we can ensure a high quality delivery to our customers and an excellent customer experience.
More specifically, you will be responsible for:
- Maintaining and further enhancing customer experience and satisfaction
- Timely delivery to customers across business areas
- Increase service levels towards factories at lower transaction cost
- Intelligent optimization of inventory levels and inventory budgets across business areas
- Support growth, develop smart logistic supply set up focusing on agility, speed and total cost, early involvement in NPI process and gate reviews
- S&OP processes, including preparation of purchasing and capacity plans long term
- Short and midterm production and material flow planning
- Optimizing total cost and factory utilization through product complexity reduction, S&OP process and product and customer segmentation
- Preparation and implementation of differentiated delivery concepts (A, B, C) and parameter control
- Proactive communication and coordination with sales organizations in relation to both daily deliveries and long term balancing of demand, capacity and inventory.
- Operational Purchasing and Inbound Logistics processes, ensuring cost effectively processes
- Warehousing and shipping processes, ensuring cost effectively processes
- Planning processes and concepts, ensuring cost effective production
- Build and enhance processes & organization so it become more scalable and global.
