Become a part of our Strategic Sourcing Team

Due to an increasing demand of our innovative and intelligent system solutions we are looking for a Strategic Sourcing Manager to our Strategic Sourcing team.
In the position as our new Strategic Sourcing Manager you will have direct reference to our Head of Strategic Sourcing, but on daily basis you will become a part of the Bid Management team consisting of 7 colleagues and have a close cooperation with the sales teams both nationally and internationally. Through Bid Management you will take an active part in the teams that are responsible for providing the best bids to Kamstrup’s customers.
Strategic Sourcing Manager with strong commercial skills
In the position as Strategic Sourcing Manager you will have the overall responsibility for supplier and contracts, wherefore you primarily task is to ensure the best possible installation performance for customers projects. You will have a broad contact surface both internally and externally since you will become a part of multiply sales projects across the organization with the focus on establish agreements with suppliers regarding the installation of our intelligent meters. Furthermore, you will be responsible for contracts, supplier selection and project support that will ensure the development as well as the implementation of purchasing strategy and the maintenance of an effective supplier base.

In the job you should expect approx. 30-40 travel days a year, primarily in Europe.
Personality matters
We are looking for someone who can use one’s personal drive, good negotiation skills and experience from the industry to contribute to the continued success of Kamstrup. You have a Master’s degree in Supply Chain, Economics or similar and 3-5 years of experience from a similar position as well as a good technical understanding.
To ensure optimal communication through all phases of a project management, it is important that you as person have a positive attitude. You always manage to meet our customers and colleagues with a smile, but also holds the ability to cut through when required. With your experience in Strategic Sourcing it comes naturally to work in a structed and focused way and you have an “can do it” attitude for the tasks. You have exceptional negotiation skills and are motivated and driven by good results. As a person you are independent and ambitious and puts an honor in meeting a deadline plus acts as reliable business partner.
You are fluent in English and Danish both written and oral.

- Ensure timely delivery with ongoing risk assessments on services and suppliers, to ensure that we are at the forefront of our needs
