Therefore, we are looking for a Planning Manager to support and develop our operational and master planning for this increased demand.
With direct reference to our Head of SCM Logistics, you will become a member of Kamstrup’s SCM Logistics leadership team. You will be responsible for a team of seven competent and dedicated employees with planning responsibilities across five production sites globally. The team is responsible for production planning, supply planning, planning concepts and is furthermore involved in defining sales and delivery concepts and optimization projects.
A job with focus on securing a efficient production flow and excellent customer experiences
As our new Planning Manager, you will be responsible for taking the leadership of the planning area and to contribute to ensuring that Supply Chain is optimized and we can ensure a high quality delivery to our customers and an excellent customer experience.
More specifically, you will be responsible for:
• Increase service levels towards factories at lower transaction cost
• Intelligent optimization of inventory levels of manufactured parts
• Short and midterm production and capacity planning
• Contribute to securing a high productivity in the production
• Preparation and implementation of differentiated delivery concepts (A, B, C) and parameter control
• Proactive communication and coordination with sales organizations
• Planning processes and concepts, ensuring cost effective production
• Build and enhance processes and organization so it become more scalable and global
As we are implementing a new ERP system in Kamstrup, you and the team will also play a central role in securing a smooth “go live” and for optimization projects including harvesting benefits of the new ERP system.
In the job you should expect approx. 10 travel days a year.
Personality matters
As a person you possess strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relations internally as well as externally. You consider yourself as being a self-starter with a strong drive and you have the capability to move and change things and turn strategy into concrete and value adding action based on facts. You have an analytical and structured approach to your work, and it is therefore natural for you to work result oriented and have a focus on detail.
You have a Master’s degree in SCM, Planning, Logistics or similar. In addition, it is a requirement that you:
• Have minimum 3-5 years of experience from a similar position in a global company
• Have a strong leadership profile with the ability to develop employees with minimum 2-3 years of leadership experience
It is a requirement that you are fluent in Danish and English, both written and oral.
