We are experiencing significant demand for our products, and we are constantly focusing on developing and producing intelligent metering solutions and services for energy- and water consumption.
We are expanding our Strategic Sourcing team and are therefore looking for a Strategic Sourcing Manager to join our Strategic Sourcing team. Together the team lead the development and execution of sourcing strategics across all the categories for direct components in Kamstrup, which give you the opportunity to set the direction within your category.
Strategic Sourcing Manager with focus on direct category management
In the position as Strategic Sourcing Manager you will lead the development and execution of sourcing strategies within you category.
In addition your key responsibilities are to:

Personality matters
As a person you are confident and strong in communication. As you will have many stakeholders both inside and outside the organization, it is important that you possess strong interpersonal skills and a strong drive that enables you to successfully orchestrate sourcing related projects across multiple functions. In addition, you have a strong customer focused and are able to see the full value chain picture.
We expect that you have a relevant commercial or technical education at minimum Bachelor degree e.g. within Supply Chain, Business or Engineering. In addition, it is a requirement that you:
If you have experience from the categories working with metal, fasteners and fittings it will be an advantage.
You are fluent in English and Danish both written and oral

Strategic Sourcing Manager with focus on direct category management
In the position as Strategic Sourcing Manager you will lead the development and execution of sourcing strategies within you category.
In addition your key responsibilities are to:
- Lead the supplier selection process, including identify potential suppliers, analyzing supplier capabilities, selecting suppliers and determine prices, terms, and conditions of agreements
- Ensure the right balance between risk and business impact to secure supply at the best commercial terms
- Identify and execute a savings pipeline together with your stakeholders
- Manage supplier relationships and performance, to secure suppliers seen as an asset supporting total cost reduction and innovation

- Have minimum 3 years of experience within direct category management from a large international organization or alternative as a consultant in a large international setting
- Have a proven ability to successfully lead strategic initiatives
- Great negotiation and networking skills and the ability to manage multiple suppliers and stakeholders
If you have experience from the categories working with metal, fasteners and fittings it will be an advantage.
You are fluent in English and Danish both written and oral
