With a direct reference to our Head of Indirect Sourcing, you will become part of a small, but skilled and ambitious team of 5 colleagues, who work with various categories within strategic sourcing including connectivity, production equipment, IT services, and much more. You will, furthermore, be a part of our larger Strategic Sourcing department, which consists of 22 skilled colleagues. Strategic Sourcing Manager with main focus on the category, production equipment
In the position as Strategic Sourcing Manager, your key focus will be production equipment, but you will also be involved in the overall strategy and direction for Indirect Sourcing in Kamstrup. Later, other categories will also need attention, but the core focus is production equipment. Building a category strategy and later executing the strategy will include disciplines as spend analysis, market analysis, supplier and contract overview, stakeholder mapping and knowing their strategy and finally identifying sourcing opportunities.

Furthermore, you will be responsible for:

• Executing sourcing projects and activities from agreed category strategies, but also execution of ad-hoc sourcing needs from key stakeholders
• Develop and innovate with current and new suppliers, locally and internationally, to meet future needs and demands
• Delivering savings from a TCO perspective, including focus on service and quality
• Ensure scalability, agility, compliance, and quality in the solutions and supplier corporation
• Ensure that decisions within your categories are based on facts and data
• Contribute to the team with leanings, knowledge sharing, feedback, and best practices experience. And equally be willing learn and to receive feedback. Regardless of level of experience, then we never stop learning.

In the job, you can expect 5-15 travel days per year.

Personality matters
You have a strong technical understanding and preferable experience from sourcing production equipment, paired with a solid business sense. Perhaps you have an engineering background and a good business sense or the other way around, a business degree and a good technical understanding of machinery. It is a requirement that you have a minimum of 3 years of experience, from a similar position.

We are looking for a person with a great personal drive to create results. You work proactively and are always seeking new information which makes you challenge status quo. You are excellent at stakeholder management and creating relations across the organisation. You can contribute to the continued success of Kamstrup through knowledge sharing and supporting your colleagues. You are curious to learn and a teamplayer.

It is a requirement that you speak and write English and Danish fluently.
