About the department
Outsourcing Management is a part of Global Development in Novo Nordisk, Søborg. The department drive the clinical contracting process for Novo Nordisk’s development projects. We are responsible for contracting and supplier management within the clinical area and for securing a strong clinical sourcing infrastructure. You will be part of a team of 21 dedicated colleagues where you will experience a high degree of individual responsibility in an engaging and professional environment.
We are currently expanding our team since we are taking on new tasks as well as strengthening our current areas of expertise.
In Global Development, we are responsible for managing clinical drug development worldwide from early development phases to product introduction. We ensure medical and scientific documentation for clinical submissions and authorities while ensuring that the process lives up to uniform global standards, regulations and business ethics.
The position
As Outsourcing Professional, you will be responsible for coordinating the clinical outsourcing processes focusing on outsourcing of clinical services and planning, coordinating and overseeing the logistic when it comes to import/export of new devices. You will handle the general maintenance of the global clinical outsourcing set-up and give ad hoc assistance to key accounts for the therapeutic areas or skill areas in relation to planning and execution of supplier oversight and RFP.
You will collaborate closely with corporate procurement, legal and external suppliers. You are good at stakeholder management as you will manage supplier relationships as well as evaluate supplier related risks and take part in integrating the clinical outsourcing strategy in the development projects.
Day to day operation is a varied mix of above responsibilities and includes a high degree of cross-functional collaboration with both internal and external stakeholders focusing on clinical operations.
As part of Global Development, the main office is in Søborg, Denmark, but there might be some travel activity.
Qualifications
You have a relevant bachelor’s or master’s degree and experience with clinical development from e.g. clinical operations, clinical supplies activities or maybe clinical outsourcing management.
You might have experience with IMG and Event Adjudication as well as experience with request for proposals and contract handling.
You are motivated to step into a new position, where you will get the opportunity to shape and develop the role. You have good coordination skills, flair for details and an interest in improving or simplifying processes. You are a team player and used to working in international and diverse professional groups, and you have a strong interest in business perspectives. The complexity of the sourcing solutions often demands curiosity and an innovative mind-set. Thinking creative and solution oriented is therefore a key to succeeding.
