The position
As Manager for GCM DP Supply Chain Planning, you head-up a team of 13 dedicated and skilled Supply Chain Planners (two of the employees based in the US at our newly established US Hub) working with purchasing, sub-contracting, and finished product planning. Some of your main tasks include: Ensuring team competences are up-to-date and aligned with future needs for efficient fulfillment of responsibilities in forecasting, order handling, and supply chain analysis Driving continuous improvements of the supply chains through collaboration with stakeholders both within Novo Nordisk and Contract Manufacturers Engaging with diverse stakeholders for business insights, building relations, and ensuring execution in line with agreements and expectations Setting direction, demonstrating inclusive leadership, motivating, and empowering your team for high performing and engagement Role-modelling our behavioral goals and fostering a collaborative spirit Qualifications
To be considered for this position, we imagine you: Hold a master’s degree within Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or any other relevant field Possess a substantial supply chain background Bring previous experience in mentoring, coaching, or developing a team Showcase fluency in both written and spoken English As a person, you possess strong communication skills, you thrive in working in an environment with changing priorities and are motivated by optimising and defining best practices. As a people manager you are empathetic, take a genuine interest in people, and in making a team perform optimally, coupled with strong work ethic and willingness to learn, and improve. GCM DP is overall responsible for Novo Nordisk’s outsourced manufacturing – sourcing semi-finished products for Novo Nordisk production and delivering finished products to customers world-wide. Our aim is to unleash the full potential of sustainable external manufacturing to reach more patients faster through flexible production and strong relations. In GCM DP Supply Chain we are responsible for purchasing and planning of products from our Contract Manufacturers and setting up the Supply Chains for new Contract Manufactures. The department consist of 23 highly motivated and talented colleagues and is currently growing as GCM DP is playing an increasingly important role in bringing new and exciting products to our patients.
