Would you like to take leadership of Sales & Operations Planning, Production Planning, Operational Purchasing, Shipping, Warehouse and Logistic in a fast-growing international company?
About the Role
Louis Poulsen is looking for an experienced Global Logistic Director, based in Vejen. You will create an E2E integrated supply chain organization for all product families, and you will be responsible for availability, reliability, and stock turn targets. Furthermore, you will handle campaigns and introductions.
Your Responsibilities
Your main responsibility will be to create a global E2E logistic set-up and to support growth in existent and new markets.
Furthermore, responsibilities for the position include:
•Implementation of Sales & Operations Planning •Global responsibility for full E2E supply chain (forecasting, planning, logistics and warehouses) •Global responsibility for logistics, 3PL/internal warehouses •Inventory •S&OP processes Main Projects
Your main projects will include:
•Driving global footprint analysis of value chain to optimize lead times, cost base and inventory reduction •Centralization of global forecast processes •Outsourcing global warehouses to 3PL •Planning E2E product flow Background & Skills
To be considered for this position, you have minimum a relevant bachelor’s degree, as well as:
•A minimum of 5-10 years of experience in logistic management •Good balance between commercial and technical knowledge •Experience with cross cultural teams •Customer focus and proactive •Basic understanding of product drawings and specifications •Fluent in English at negotiation level Personal qualifications
You have a high drive, enjoy being proactive and persistent, able to reach out to relevant stakeholders on all levels to ensure and drive performance. Other personal qualifications include:
•Strong leadership •Analytical skills and systematic approach will be a strong advantage •Persistent in driving for performance and results •High energy level •Positive, curious and openminded •Excellent communicator •Structured and methodical workstyle •Strong team player, who can interact and communicate well with people at all levels, and you always support team deliverables We offer
