Are you passionate about making a difference in pediatric dental care?
Langeland Kommune is searching for a dentist to join our small, highly professional dental team caring for approximately 1900 children at the age of 0-18. In this position, you will be heading the dental unit currently consisting of two dental assistants and 1 hygienist.
The dental clinic is open 200 days a year. It is, however, not mandatory for you to be present all days – as long as all children on Langeland are fully cared for. To a certain extent it will therefore be possible to establish or maintain a current part time dentistry practice elsewhere.
In Langeland Kommunes dental team we value good relations in our pediatric care. We are highly professional and providing good care for the individual patient is always a key focus. In our dental team we have a strong cooperative environment cherishing involvement, well-being and work satisfaction for the individual staff member. Also an important element in our work is interdisciplinary cooperation with schools, daycare, social services, etc.
The working hours will be organized by further agreement.

- teaching children and young people good dental hygiene
- being up to date on pediatric dentistry and developing good dental care for the children on Langeland
Required qualifications
- be a certified/licensed dentist
- value good communication and relations with both children and parents
- have good cooperation and problem-solving skills
- be energetic and positive with a caring and empathetic approach to all children
- speaks and understands Danish and/or English
