Technical Design Apprenticeship

Northern Europe’s largest construction project is ongoing. While we are writing history by building the world’s longest immersed tunnel, we are looking for a Technical Design Apprentice to join our highly motivated Survey team in Rødbyhavn on Lolland.

Who are we?

Femern Link Contractors, FLC, is the joint venture responsible for the design and construction of the immersed tunnel, tunnel portals and ramps. Our joint venture consists of nine international construction companies with individual experience in large infrastructure projects.

Together, we are committed to working together to deliver a state-of-the-art immersed tunnel, portals and ramps, delivered on time and safely, in a sustainable and ethical manner.

In our Survey team you will be working in an inspiring environment with highly skilled engineers and the latest hardware for survey, positioning, mapping, and design on land and marine. You will be a part of the team and a part of the daily tasks, where learning will be prioritized.

Tasks for the apprentice:

• Office works.
• Preparation of land- and marine survey works in CAD and / or in survey software, based on digital drawings and models.
• Registration of performed tasks and data in the file system.
• Create survey reports in Excel and CAD about the performed work.
• Calculate production data in CAD and / or Excel e.g., volumes, surfaces, distances.
• Field works (occasionally).
• Conduct surveys of local terrain and existing infrastructure.
• Perform monitoring surveys as described in procedures and method statements and / or as directed.

At FLC we have our own Apprentice Department, which has full focus on our apprentices, their development and well-being. As an apprentice at FLC you will be assured a manager who has a solid and good experience.

Our Apprentice Department will help to support the entire process and make sure to create the best possible match.
