About the department

We are looking for a VP Assistant to join MARS Strategic Development (MARS SD), a staff function in MARS located in Søborg. We are 35 dedicated people responsible for several activities such as Project Management, Training and Communication that go across the MARS organisation.

MARS consists of three areas: Medical Affairs (scientific trial communication), Regulatory Affairs (approvals by health authorities) and Global Safety (patient safety and handling of adverse events).

Being part of the staff function is a truly exciting challenge. We sit at the centre of decisions, close to MARS Management, and it is our job to make sure that MARS is well prepared for future challenges. You will be expected to make an impact by always striving to further improve the business.

The job

As the Personal Assistant to the VP, you are offered a challenging and exciting position in the MARS Strategic Development area. Your primary role will be to support the VP with calendar administration, travel bookings, meeting agenda planning and other ad hoc tasks. In addition, your tasks will also include recruitment support, on-boarding, stakeholder management, communication with internal/external vendors, budget planning, support to the department with other various administrative and practical tasks. The duration of the maternity cover is 13 months, starting the 1st of May 2020.

Qualifications

You have an administrative education and good communication skills, with the ability to adjust communication formality depending on the situation. You can effectively manage sensitive and confidential information. You master IT skills and have Novo Nordisk system knowledge. We are looking for a person who is very proactive in relation to the VP and the processes running within the VP area. You have a strong quality and service mindset, with focus on high quality in deliverables, coordination and planning. Fluency in English, spoken and written, is a requisite.
