You will serve as strategic business partner for two area: the Corporate Portfolio Vice President (CVP) for CMC CagriSema and the Vice President (VP) for the CMC Executive Office and both their teams. You will support the areas on a wide range of business-related matters on both operational and strategic level as well as providing selected day-to-day guidance analysis and communication-related tasks. As Strategic Business Partner you will act as a trusted advisor and play a pivotal role in fostering coherent energy across the two C/VP areas . CMC Executive Office serve as important advisors to the SVP and the SVP management team and help drive cross-organisational agendas. You will be a trusted advisor to the VP in the continued development of CMC Executive Office. CMC CagriSema area manage the complex CagriSema project portfolio, which calls for transparency and numerous strategic/tactical discussions and decisions. You will play a crucial part in the alignment of the areas project activities. As local anchor in the two areas for the business plan (Strategy2Action) process and support deployment. This includes identifying, developing and implementing business initiatives to support the overall strategic goals, follow up on actions and create presentation material on behalf of the C/VPs. You will work closely with different business units and create real impact through active partnerships. The position offers frequent senior management interaction and the opportunity to impact how well the organisation is prepared for the many future opportunities and challenges. You will also get a chance to engage in a broad network both within and outside of CMC Development & Scaling. Qualifications
You hold a relevant Master’s degree and have 4-8 years of work experience preferably within business development, project management or consultancy. With a proven track record, you work independently and experienced in taking the lead on complex tasks and projects. Furthermore, you: have excellent analytical skills and the ability to transform analysis into clear and impactful communication can facilitate strategic discussions at senior management level, using your strong stakeholder management and interpersonal skills take pride in handling and delivering on different operational and tactical tasks and projects simultaneously We are looking for a person with an open and curious mind-set and a willingness to expand competencies into new areas. Furthermore, you are ambitious and a dedicated team-player with a genuine interest in understanding other’s perspectives and interact with stakeholders in a humble and respectful manner, while not being afraid of challenging status quo. You have excellent communication skills and can easily interact with colleagues at all levels in the organisation. Lastly, excellent English skills written and spoken is a prerequisite. CMC Development & Scaling (CMC: Chemistry, Manufacturing and Control) makes a real difference for patients with chronic diseases across the world. We develop, manufacture and distribute drug candidates for non-clinical and clinical trials and represent a strong culture with a “can do” mind-set. As Strategic Business Partner, you will be part of two C/VP areas consisting of 20 highly skilled colleagues within different fields of expertise: project management, strategy development, communication, finance, risk management, business continuity and health & safety.
