We are seeking an SVP Finance and Risk Partner to manage the financial processes and enterprise risk management (ERM) for our SVP-area Supply Chain & Business Development (SC&BD). The successful candidate will deliver high-quality finance and risk partnering to the SVP-area and leadership team by providing financial insights and risk management guidance to support decision making. They will also drive optimal resource allocation and ensure adherence to financial and ERM principles in the SVP area.   • Keep budgets in control and ensure financial processes are done in a timely and appropriate quality.
  • Perform month-end closing and drive the SC&BD Business Review process.
  • Identify improvement opportunities to enhance the overall effectiveness and efficiency of financial processes and procedures.
  • Keep key stakeholders up to date on financial development and flag potential challenges proactively.
  • Challenge colleagues in a constructive and timely manner to achieve results, demonstrate drive, initiative, and a can-do attitude.
  • Risk management:
  • Manage and optimise the risk management process in compliance with overall ERM procedure.
  • Drive and support the identification and assessment of key risks that may impact the achievement of strategic objectives for SC&BD.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to support the risks identification as well as development and implementation of risk mitigation plans.
  • Monitor progress and effectiveness of risk mitigation plans and take a proactive approach to identify potential new risks.
  • Prepare and present relevant risk reports to SC&BD leadership and submit quarterly risk updates.
  • Identify improvement opportunities to enhance the overall effectiveness and efficiency of risk management process within SC&BD.
  • Actively participate in risk management network and contribute towards enhancing risk management maturity.
  • Qualifications:
    • Preferably a master’s degree within finance, business, or similar relevant fields.
    • 3-5 years’ work experience with finance and risk management.
    • Sense for details without losing the bigger picture.
    • Structured, analytical, and able to deliver to deadlines.
    • Ability to extract and present key takeaways from large datasets.
    • High level of integrity to act as a trusted advisor.
    • Problem solver, able to support people to find pragmatic, yet effective solutions.
    • Flexible and ready for change, curious, and positive towards learning and new practices.
