The Dairy Pilot plant in KU supports teaching activities through practicals in Dairy Science and Technology education and research through master thesis, PhD and postdocs with industrial partner. The Pilot Plant is equipped with most common dairy unitary operations: continuous/ batch heat and shear treatment, proteins separation with membrane process, yoghurt manufacturing, cheese manufacturing.
We seek a student helper - 4 hours per week - from 15th May 2020

Your profile :
First year Dairy Science and Technology master, you have completed internship and you like practical work in dairy environment. You are curious for dairy technologies regarding process equipment and product. You are organized and have a solution finder mindset.

- Preparation and set-up of the practicals.
- Preparation and set-up of specific equipment.
- Setting up specific process / protocol
- Keeping quality procedure up to date (user’s manual, good practice, metrology).
- Keeping the place clean, easily accessible.
