Georg Jensen is looking for a part-time Design Project Management Student Assistant

Are you interested in project management, product development and design? Georg Jensen is currently looking for a student assistant to assist the Design Project Manager in coordinating and planning design development of jewellery, home products and watches as well as assisting in budget related tasks.

The role
As a part-time student assistant, you will be joining the Design Team located at our beautiful Headquarter in Copenhagen. You will be exposed to all aspects of design development from making timelines, creating briefs for our production team to ensuring accurate product information and assisting in weekly design meetings. Our work hours are flexible, but we expect you to work 10-15 hours a week spread across 2-3 days.

Your tasks and responsibilities
  • Help organize and prepare weekly design and development meetings with various stakeholders
  • Assist in maintaining accurate product information in line plans
  • Create item numbers and product names
  • Be responsible for our jewellery sample inventory and ensuring that approved samples are put on stock
  • Assist in developing our limited-edition jewellery
  • Help with general product development tasks for jewellery, such as creating briefs to our production team
  • Assist with budget related tasks

Who are you?
We imagine that you have some work experience and that you are currently studying for either a Bachelor or a Master degree. Which line of study and how far you are is not that important – as long as you have an interest in design and an understanding of planning and coordination as well as a basic business and financial knowledge.

You are used to work in a structured manner and are good at following up on tasks and projects until we have reached the finish line. You should be able to manage more than one task at a time and be comfortable working with multiple different stakeholders. Lastly, you need to be business proficient in English, as this is our working language.
