About the department
Near the Novo Nordisk facilities in Hillerød, Favrholm Campus is one of our three conference centres for internal courses, seminars and meetings - a Novo Nordisk house where Danish and international colleagues meet across functions, departments and responsibilities in our wide variety of setups.
The position
We are looking for a temporary Conference Coordinator for six months as from 1 November 2019 with potential possibility of extension.
In close cooperation with your colleagues you will be responsible for receiving our conference guests and for being their contact person during their stay. Furthermore, you will must receive and coordinate bookings from our colleagues, and make sure that all ends meet. As an integrated part of the Favrholm Campus staff you will work according to a rotation schedule (Monday-Friday), and you must expect frequent evening duty (1-2 per week :12.00-20.00)
Qualification
You have a solid experience from the hotel or conference centre business and feel quite at ease in a busy environment. You master a conference booking system (experience with Spectra will be an advantage) and have a flair for AV/IT that will enable you to help our guests operate Favrholm’s technical equipment.
You speak and write Danish and English fluently, you are service-minded, well-structured and detail-oriented. You are always a few steps ahead and can maintain an overview under pressure. You are a team player and ready to work with a small group of colleagues in which everyone helps each other. You are responsible, accountable, and process-oriented. Along with the rest of our staff, you must demonstrate a respectful and positive ‘can-do’ attitude, since most of your job will be to make our guests feel comfortable and confident.
