Are you interested in trying out an exciting job that covers a variety of administrative tasks, communication and responsibility for planning and preparation of internal events? At Novo Nordisk Site Hjørring, we are on the lookout for a maternity cover for the Personal Assistant to the head of site who can manage several different tasks without losing overview. Your new workplace is located in Hjørring, around 30 minutes from Aalborg.
About the department
The department consists of the Corporate Vice President (CVP) and his Personal Assistant, who are responsible for leading the site in close collaboration with the site’s management team. Novo Nordisk Site Hjørring consists of five departments and employs approximately 280 people.
The job
As maternity cover for the Personal Assistant you provide administrative support by managing the CVP’s diary and arranging all practical details related to travels for the CVP as well as organising meetings and seminars in the management team. You will have individual responsibility for a number of tasks related to communication ensuring a high information level to the site’s employees. This includes preparation of presentations and ensuring that the content on the site’s internal webpages and info screens around the site are appropriate and updated. As the local editor you are responsible for seeking out the good stories from our site for the corporate online news channels and ensuring that we meet the deadlines.
You will also be responsible for planning and preparing local events such as management seminars, the site seminar day and annual party, site celebrations and other social arrangements. You can look forward to being in close contact with the management and have a wide range of contacts across the site through your collaboration with staff functions in other departments. Along with the CVP you are also responsible for the site’s sponsorship budget and are contact person for incoming applications.
Qualifications
You could be newly graduated academic having experience with communication from an internship and are interested in trying out a job where you also have to accomplish the administrative responsibilities. You could also have several years of experience from a larger international organisation which makes you capable of solving a wide range of administrative tasks, and at the same time having some experience within communication. To succeed in this position, it is imperative that you thrive working independently and are able to follow through on your tasks in a timely manner balancing the time allocated to the task. Since you will be in contact with a lot of people and functions at the site, your ability to collaborate and communicate is crucial.
In addition to this, you will need to be able to handle confidential conversation, correspondence and documents. Finally, you need to be proficient in MS Office, especially PowerPoint, and perfect in Danish proof writing, as well as being able to speak and write English fluently at a high level.
